About the role
We are now looking for another experienced and dedicated Facilities Specialist to join our global Facility Management & EHS team, based at our subsidiary Agrisera in Umeå. In this role, you will be part of the global team and report to the Manager Global Facility Management & EHS in Uppsala, but primarily focus on our property portfolio in Umeå.
As a Facilities Specialist, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in developing and maintaining our facilities and property assets to ensure they meet the highest standards of functionality, safety, and efficiency – enabling our business to thrive in a world-class working environment.
You will act as a subject matter expert in building technical systems, installations, and facility operations, while also leading continuous improvements and maintenance planning for our facilities in and around Umeå.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality documentation, communication, and follow-up of contractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Support Olink and Agrisera’s operations with expertise in building technical installations, inquiries, and fault reports
- Act as the company’s local expert and set requirements for facility and safety installations
- Coordinate and serve as the main contact person for maintenance, training, and corrective actions with internal and external parties
- Plan maintenance, activities, and projects within your area of responsibility
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Engineering, or a vocational higher education qualification equivalent to a Property Engineer is advantageous for this role
- At least 4 years of experience in Facility Management or operations administration; previous supervisory experience is a plus
- Experience from the pharmaceutical or medical technology industry is advantageous
- Deep understanding of facility operations and maintenance planning, with experience in procuring facility management services
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
- Experience with computer programs such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Facility Management Systems, and Office
- Valid driver’s license (Category B) is required

You have an engaged and proactive work approach, along with a good ability to identify solutions and drive work forward in a constructive and pragmatic manner. You enjoy collaborating with others, easily build good relationships, and feel confident delegating tasks and coordinating services when needed. Furthermore, you are meticulous, accustomed to documenting changes, and working according to current regulations and procedures.
Practical experience with various construction techniques and work methods is advantageous. We also appreciate if you have the ability to read drawings and interpret technical information.
