Why this job is for you Product development is our passion, and we offer you the opportunity to realize your ambitions and interests. We provide you with the tools you need to succeed in your career. Our work environment is characterized by trust, transparency, and collaboration. The combination of these qualities, along with your technical expertise and strong drive to help our customers develop, creates the best solutions that both you and our company can be proud of.

At Knightec, we challenge ourselves by taking on larger roles in projects by working together in teams. This starts and ends with communication, which has resulted in better contact between our offices around Sweden. Depending on your role, you can work in one of our in-house teams, in our open office landscape, or at one of our customers. Some of our customers allow partial remote work.

You will work within our business area Hardware & Design, where we combine broad engineering competence with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centered approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences all the way from concept to mass production.

Responsibilities

You will meet people who care. Not just about the project and the technology, but also about each other. We do it together – that is how we move forward.

  • Create and develop production prerequisites and efficient workflows.
  • Participate in improvement work and implementation of new technical solutions.
  • Use and develop PLM systems as well as production control systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally between design, production, and development.
  • Contribute technical competence throughout the entire product lifecycle – from idea to finished product.

Qualifications

We believe you have worked within mechanics but feel that you want to create prerequisites for production. Or perhaps you have worked in production and want to continue developing in the field. As a person, you are driven and unpretentious!

In addition to your personal qualities, you need to have the following:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience working as a mechanical designer, within design and product development.
  • Experience with PLM systems.
  • Experience with production control systems.
  • Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English.
