Your Role
In the role of Forest and Land Coordinator, you have overall responsibility for managing and developing Boliden's land and forest assets, as well as ensuring access to land that is strategically important for our mining operations. You independently drive the entire property process – where negotiation is a central part – from valuation and land balancing to investment basis, agreements, and cadastral surveys.
With your extensive expertise in property law, you are responsible for drafting, reviewing, and quality-assuring various types of agreements and tenancies. You also act as a specialist and advisor in real estate legal matters in both internal and external projects, where you confidently represent Boliden in dialogues and negotiations with various stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who works in a structured and business-like manner, with high integrity and good judgment. You are self-motivated, have strong negotiation skills, and a very good ability to build long-term relationships and create trust. Here, you will have a central role in a dynamic operation where your work contributes to long-term sustainable development.
Your Team
The position is a permanent full-time employment located in Boliden. You report to the Department Manager for Land Use and Community Relations and are part of an engaged team of eight people.
Together, you are responsible for forest management, property issues, social sustainability, biodiversity, and GIS coordination (Geographic Information Systems) within all of Boliden's mining operations – a mission where collaboration, competence, and development are in focus.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and develop Boliden's land and forest holdings.
- Support the mines' operations as an expert in property matters.
- Handle planning, follow-up, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, authorities, indigenous peoples, and landowners.
- Responsible for dialogue and cases with landowners and authorities.
- Contribute to group-wide work on forest and land issues.
- Participate in the development of strategies, routines, and land balancing.
Your Qualifications
- Academic education in fields such as surveying, property law, forestry, urban planning, or similar.
- Experience working with land access, forestry issues, property management, or similar; preferably within the industrial, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Good knowledge of land law and understanding of permitting and authority processes related to land use.
- Good knowledge of land law and relevant legislation, including property law, the Environmental Code, and expropriation issues. You also have a good understanding of permitting and authority processes related to land use.
- Experience in dialogue and collaboration with landowners, authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a valid driver's license (Category B) as travel and field work are part of the role.
Merits for the role:
- Experience in negotiations regarding land access or usufruct rights.
- Experience in valuing land and properties.
