Workplace Description

The Faculty of Fine Arts' administration office is centrally located in Malmö, a stone's throw from Möllevångstorget. Here, nine employees work to support the faculty leadership and departments in matters concerning education, research, finance, HR, and communication. The administration's main tasks are to:

  • Provide operational and strategic support to the faculty's leadership, departments, boards, committees, and other operations, thereby contributing to the faculty's overall operational goals.
  • Monitor the external environment, analyze, and initiate actions in relation to the operation's needs and the external environment's demands and expectations.
  • Prepare decision-making materials and contribute to the implementation of decisions.
  • Report back to the university and other relevant actors.
  • Contribute to, support, and follow up on regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a link between the departments, the faculty, and the university.

Tasks and Responsibilities

We are now looking for a temporary HR Partner for a fixed-term position of 12 months. Here we have two HR Partners who work broadly with operation-oriented HR support within areas such as working environment, recruitment, rehabilitation, salary review, labor law, and negotiations. As an HR Partner, you contribute to strengthening the conditions for the faculty's leadership, managers, and employees in their work and development. Since the HR function at the Faculty of Fine Arts is relatively new, there are many areas for development. In this position, you will have a special focus on the processes for salary formation, recruitment, and workforce planning. You will be responsible for developing the faculty's work with strategic workforce planning in close collaboration with the operations and with support from the university's central HR section. You will be part of the university's process groups for workforce planning and agreements and employment, which work to develop and implement common processes and routines.

Requirements

The position requires:

  • An academic degree at least at the bachelor's level with a focus on HR.
  • At least five years of experience in operation-oriented HR work in a generalist role where you have worked to provide qualified HR support to managers, both in an advisory and coaching role. You need to have experience in driving, implementing, and following up on change and development work within HR, and you can easily handle tasks in various HR-related systems and in Office.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

At the Faculty of Fine Arts, there are bachelor's, master's, and graduate programs in fine arts, music, and theater, as well as a number of courses of varying scope. Doctoral education and research with an artistic focus and in music pedagogy are also conducted here.
