At Backaskolan, we have a holistic view of knowledge and learning, seeing the ability to collaborate as fundamental for development. This applies to educators working with each other as well as in their work with students. The vision for Backaskolan is educators who work closely together and have the students' learning and development as the focus, both during school hours and leisure time. A team consisting of three teachers with complementary skills shares responsibility for both school and leisure activities, following their group throughout the entire day and school term. We aim to create varied teaching where students are given the opportunity to participate and work in different ways and in different constellations. We work with cooperative learning (KL), digital tools, hands-on elements, use various learning environments both indoors and outdoors, and view subjects as parts of a thematic approach. Backaskolan started in the autumn of 2017. The school is built close to nature, which has inspired both the choice of materials and interior design. Meals are prepared from scratch in the restaurant, and much of what we serve consists of ingredients saved from being wasted.

The premises are designed for flexible teaching, featuring a large common room and several smaller and larger group rooms in each home base. The flexibility in the layout of the premises aligns with the school's vision of stimulating, joyful, and creative learning environments.

Backaskolan has a local agreement with holiday service and opportunities for flexibility for all educational staff.

Your Role

You will be part of the team's daily pedagogical work and implementation (both during school and leisure hours).

Together with your team, you will continuously plan, implement, and assess teaching.

You are also part of the school's entire operation, which involves collaboration, planning, pedagogical discussions, and competence development together with the school's other teams.

• You see the benefits of working within all parts of the school's pedagogical activities and taking shared responsibility for the student's entire day, both during school and leisure hours.

Great emphasis will be placed on education and personal qualities.

To obtain employment, a certificate of good conduct from the Police must be presented. A certificate from the Suspicion Register may also be required depending on the position.
