Are you a skilled technician passionate about troubleshooting and eager to take responsibility for the operation of complex facility systems? We are currently looking for a Facility Technician for a long-term consultancy assignment via Randstad with a leading pharmaceutical company in Uppsala. Here, you will become part of a tight-knit and high-performing team!

About the Role

As a Facility Technician, you will have overall responsibility for the factory's "shell and core" as well as the facility's utility systems. You will work proactively with repairs, planned maintenance, and assembly to ensure reliable and cost-effective operations.

The work is scheduled in 2-shift rotations.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Operations & Maintenance: Perform assembly, repairs, and proactive maintenance of utility and facility equipment.
• System Responsibility: Maintain reliable operation of utility systems such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, AC), purified water (WFI/purified water), compressed air, cooling and gas systems, wastewater treatment, and steam generation.
• Troubleshooting: Conduct basic troubleshooting and simpler repairs on associated equipment and control systems.
• Digital Monitoring: Monitor system performance and operations via automated control systems such as BMS (Building Management System), UMS, and EMS.
• Safety Procedures: Coordinate system shutdowns with the maintenance team and perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) in accordance with current safety regulations.
• Field Work: Perform field logging, sample analysis, and routine operational activities, while keeping technical areas clean and well-maintained.
• Quality Assurance: Work in strict compliance with ISO standards, GMP, as well as current internal procedures and quality policies.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a natural problem solver and are methodical and trained in troubleshooting. You analyze the situation and take responsibility for finding solutions. Safety and precision are your key words. As a person, you are independent but also possess strong social and communication skills, as you will collaborate closely with other functions and be part of a tight-knit group.

Qualifications:

• Experience with similar systems (e.g., from the process industry).
• Practical experience in dismantling pumps, membranes, and changing seals.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, water purification, and steam systems.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and basic English.

Meritorious:

• Experience with hot work.
• Previous experience working in a regulated environment (GMP/ISO).

This is a consultancy assignment via Randstad, but our client views this as a long-term investment.
