Do you want a varied and responsible role in accounting, in a company where a lot is happening? At Timarco Sweden AB, we are now looking for an Accountant for our office in Arlandastad. With us, you will have a broad role where you are an important part of the finance function, with the opportunity to grow and develop together with us.

Your responsibilities

Together with an accounting assistant, you are responsible for the accounting and handle the entire range of the financial flow, from daily tasks to monthly and annual closing. You are meticulous, efficient, and thrive when juggling multiple tasks. In addition to the daily work, you also contribute to our continuous progress and help find smart ways to do things.

Examples of what the role includes:

• Day-to-day accounting
• Accounts payable and payments
• Bank and balance reconciliations
• Accruals and closing work
• Handling of VAT, EU VAT, AGI, and taxes
• Financial reporting
• Support during audits and liquidity monitoring

We sell well-known brands such as Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Triumph, Björn Borg, and Sloggi, deliver over 400,000 packages per year, and have an annual turnover of more than 200 million SEK.

We operate throughout the Nordic region and are also present in markets such as Germany, the Netherlands, England, Poland, Switzerland, France, and others. Our goal is to become the obvious name for online underwear in Europe. This is a journey we are in the middle of, and now we want more engaged employees to join us on it.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, structured, and enjoys a broad approach to work. You take responsibility for your tasks, are flexible when priorities change, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues inside and outside the finance function. You are accustomed to working meticulously even at a high pace, and you appreciate having the space not only to manage daily tasks but also to contribute to how we work moving forward.

We would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education in economics/accounting, or equivalent experience
• Experience with day-to-day accounting, closing work, reconciliations, and reporting
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with VAT and taxes
• Good skills in Excel
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English

Merits:

• Experience from e-commerce
• Experience with group structures and intra-group transactions
• Experience with accounting systems, such as Lundify (formerly Björn Lundén) and Tripletex
