What do we offer?

The Maintenance Organization - Casting/Machining is now recruiting a Maintenance Technician. All work will be performed using maintenance processes based on Value Driven Maintenance (VDM) as building blocks, grounded in collective maintenance experience, new technology, and above all, your personal profile. You are offered the opportunity to be part of an exciting journey during a build-up phase where the focus lies on developing your own and your colleagues' competencies within the business areas. You will participate in various phases of the equipment project where you will receive training, both practical and theoretical. Together with the production and technical organization, Manufacturing Engineering (ME), and selected suppliers, we are creating a new factory. The position is based on a 4-shift system.

What will you do?

For this type of manufacturing process to function, cross-boundary and non-hierarchical collaboration is required with participants in both the project and a future production and technical organization. The casting process is highly automated and consists of three parts: melting, casting, and machining. Together with the team, you will ensure that production runs smoothly, for example by monitoring machines and ensuring that finished products meet current quality requirements.

As a Maintenance Technician, you work to ensure the technical availability of production equipment by performing corrective and preventive maintenance in the electrical/control and mechanical fields. You will also work with functional tests and inspection assignments regarding new production equipment, as well as investigation assignments regarding technical disruptions. There may also be some minor reconstruction and improvement works on our production equipment.

You and your skills

Requirements for the position:

• Electrical competence. Low voltage authorization (AL) according to Appendix 1 in ELSÄK-FS 2017:4 or alternatively a 2-year Electrical Technology high school program or equivalent.
• PLC – Siemens TIA Portal.
• Practical experience from automated production processes.
• Category B driver's license.

Meritorious:

• Experience in maintenance work within foundry operations or machining.
• Knowledge/experience of TPM/VDM and maintenance systems.
• Knowledge/experience of robot programming and/or network and data communication.
• Knowledge/experience of hydraulics/pneumatics, media, CNC, AMR.
