RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to help develop our operations from a genuine child and youth perspective. As a support pedagogue in the work group, you will be part of the day-to-day work and provide support to residents in their daily lives, working together with your colleagues to increase individuals' participation, influence, and self-determination in their lives. You will act as a mentor for your colleagues and, together with the unit manager and the support pedagogue with overarching responsibility, you will develop, plan, and evaluate the pedagogical work. You are expected to develop and disseminate pedagogical methods and ethical competence within the operation.

In the day-to-day work, you always base your actions on the individual's decisions from the case worker as well as the implementation plan. This includes tasks where you provide support in everyday life. The role also involves performing delegated tasks such as care and medication delegation according to self-care assignments. As a support pedagogue, you ensure that all implementation plans are up-to-date, based on the intervention plan and the user's goals, and that their participation is secured. You work continuously with motivation and have a conscious and pedagogical approach based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. We work person-centered with participation, clear structure, AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication), and low-affective handling. The focus moving forward is to develop the existing AAC structure in the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

• Post-secondary education as a support pedagogue.
• Experience in structured work with pedagogical methods.
• Experience working with children and young people with autism diagnoses/intellectual disabilities.
• Experience in documenting, drawing up, and following up on implementation plans.
• Actively work with low-affective handling and/or have training in this, e.g., Studio 3.
• Good IT skills in various systems.
• Good command of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of pedagogical digital tools, MI, psychiatry, clarifying pedagogy, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), as well as having had a mentoring role.

As a person, you have a calm and secure approach. You have a pedagogical attitude and are receptive, respectful, and curious. You have a methodical and flexible working style and a good ability to adapt to changed needs in the operation. You are responsible and motivated by development and collaboration with your colleagues.
