Specialist Dental Care at Mälarsjukhuset is one of our largest clinics. Today, approximately 46 employees work across departments for periodontology, oral prosthetics, bite physiology, pediatric dentistry, orofacial medicine, oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral radiology, and endodontics. Within the company, we have three specialist dentists in orofacial medicine, one of whom is going on parental leave. We are therefore seeking a replacement for a permanent position.

Every week, we hold cross-disciplinary meetings where all specialties participate to discuss various patient cases. This offers a unique opportunity to gain knowledge from experienced colleagues regarding treatment planning. It is a highly rewarding forum with an open atmosphere where everyone can contribute their expertise and experience.

Our Facilities and Development

Our premises have been completely renovated with "state of the art" equipment, including four new operating theaters. We prioritize continuing education for dentists, hygienists, dental nurses, and receptionists to offer highly specialized dental care to the residents of Sörmland. Several of our dental nurses have further specialized within their disciplines. We also conduct specialist training in oral radiology and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Through our close collaboration with the Center for Clinical Research Sörmland, there are excellent opportunities for those interested in research. Currently, we have two PhD students in oral prosthetics conducting award-winning projects, as well as four dentists with doctoral degrees at the clinic.
