Job Responsibilities

You will teach vocational courses for upper secondary students on the Natural Resources Program with a focus on Forestry, in collaboration with other teachers on the program. Here, you are responsible for planning and conducting teaching in current courses for upper secondary students and adult education (KOMVUX) students.

It is important that you can organize and document your work independently. The content of the position is primarily teaching in the subjects of forest machines and off-road transport, but may also include parts or entire courses such as service technology, forest care, entrepreneurship, motor and brush cutter saws, etc.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a solid background in the forestry industry. You possess good theoretical and practical knowledge in the profession of forest machine operator. If you have a vocational teacher's degree, instructor training, or have worked as an instructor for new colleagues in the industry, it is an advantage. Forestry education at the university level or equivalent knowledge is an advantage.

We place great value on your personal qualities and competencies. The role requires that you are structured and goal-oriented. You are curious, and the desire to teach is an important driving force. You play an important role and need to be a clear leader in the classroom, with the ability to create good relationships and an inclusive climate where every student feels seen and taken seriously. You have good communication skills, can motivate, create engagement, and participation.

Category B driver's license is a requirement.
