At the service offices in Region Stockholm Gotland, we have a total of approximately 170 employees. We are now recruiting for several of our service offices in Stockholm. We work with a service-oriented approach where you and your colleagues share a common responsibility for your tasks and learning. We work actively with continuous improvements, and contributing to the development of the operations is part of the role.
Main Responsibilities
As a Service Officer, you provide quick and professional service by answering questions from private individuals and businesses. A large part of your work involves guiding customers to use the e-services of cooperating authorities and finding information on websites. In your role, it is important that you listen actively, adapt your approach to the customer, and maintain a pedagogical attitude.
In your customer meetings, you are supported by the IT systems of various authorities. In addition to introduction and training, time is set aside every day to familiarize yourself with the information needed to stay updated on news and changes affecting the service office's operations.
You may also be required to work at other service offices, sometimes with short notice.

Qualifications
You are driven by providing our customers with good service by identifying each customer's needs and providing answers or guidance. Since you work closely with customers, you must feel comfortable in direct meetings with customers from different backgrounds and with varying abilities. In short, we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and is quick to absorb new knowledge. We are looking for someone who is open to change, thrives in a dynamic environment, and adapts easily to new ways of working and challenges.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university education of at least 80 credits/120 ECTS or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience
- At least two years of work experience within the last five years in a service profession where you have informed and guided customers in person
Furthermore, you should have the following skills:
- The ability to quickly establish contact with others in an objective and professional manner
- The ability to map customer needs by asking questions and listening actively
- Oral and written communication skills in Swedish
- Oral communication skills in English
- The ability to adapt your working method to the varying needs of customers
- The ability to handle multiple customers simultaneously
- The ability to contribute positively to the team's results and collaboration
Furthermore, the following is meritorious:
- Experience in the role of Service Officer at Statens servicecenter during the last two years
We will place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability.
Other Information
The position is permanent and full-time. We usually apply a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. Location by agreement. Remote work is not possible.
This position requires a passed security clearance according to the Security Protection Act. As an employee, you may also be assigned to wartime duties based on the needs of the total defense.
