Operating Room Nurse Wanted for Varied Assignments

Are you an operating room nurse looking for a longer-term assignment with broad surgical variety and modern operating environments?

We are now seeking an experienced specialist nurse in operating room care for an assignment during the autumn of 2026.

About the Assignment

You will work within a comprehensive surgical department handling both emergency and elective surgery. The department covers several surgical specialties and offers a broad and developmental working environment.

The work may include:

• Assisting in surgical procedures
• Instrumentation and sterile handling
• Teamwork with anesthesia and operating room staff
• Pre- and perioperative nursing care

The department works with several different surgical areas, including:

• General Surgery
• Urology
• Gynecology
• Robotic Surgery
• Orthopedics
• Vascular Surgery
• Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Surgery

Placement may occur at several units depending on the department's needs and your competence profile.

Period & Scope

• Period: Weeks 36–45
• Scope: Approximately 496 hours
• Working hours according to schedule

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse with specialist education in operating room care
• Has current experience from operating room activities
• Is confident in both emergency and elective surgery
• Has good collaboration skills and works in a structured manner
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with varied surgical procedures

Merits:

• Experience with robotic surgery
• Experience from several surgical specialties

Requirements for Presentation

The following documents must be available for presentation:

• Updated CV
• Specialist Nurse Degree
• Adult CPR certification
• Two current references from the latest assignment or employment
