Nurse sought for adult psychiatric autumn assignment

Are you a nurse with experience or interest in psychiatric inpatient care?

We are now looking for dedicated nurses for an assignment within adult psychiatry, offering a varied work environment and broad patient contact during the autumn of 2026.

About the assignment

You will work within adult psychiatric inpatient care, where duties may be spread across several different units, including psychiatric emergency services and specialized care wards.

The work includes among other things:

• Daily rounds
• Conversations with patients and relatives
• Medication management
• Nursing care within inpatient settings
• Coordination for admissions and discharges
• Documentation in medical record systems

The department works with several different patient groups within psychiatric care, including acute psychiatry, addiction treatment, and psychosis care.

Introduction is offered at the units where shifts are scheduled, if needed.

Period & scope

• Period: Week 36–40
• Scope: Approximately 200 hours
• Mainly night shifts
• Work according to schedule

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have experience in psychiatric care or inpatient care
• Are confident in independent work and acute situations
• Have good teamwork skills and professional demeanor
• Have knowledge of psychiatric involuntary treatment legislation

Merits:

• Specialist training in psychiatry
• Experience with Cosmic, Cosmic Nova, and Cosmic Link

Requirements for presentation

The following documents must be available for presentation:

• Updated CV
• Copy of professional license
• Adult CPR training certificate
• Two current references from the most recent assignment or employment
