Sigrid Rudebeck's Gymnasium is seeking a Mathematics Teacher (Temporary Position)

Sigrid Rudebeck's Gymnasium is an independent, foundation-owned, non-profit upper secondary school founded in 1869. We offer upper secondary education within the Natural Science Programme and the Social Science Programme. In our historic premises on Bellmansgatan in central Gothenburg, approximately 545 students study, and a team of about forty employees works here. Our school offers a safe and stimulating learning environment where experienced teachers meet our students with high expectations and foster a love for learning. We are constantly working to develop our operations, with collegial learning being a core pillar.

For the autumn term, we are now looking for a certified upper secondary mathematics teacher to work in a 50% temporary position during the academic year 2026/27.

Competence Profile:

We are looking for a certified mathematics teacher with a few years of experience teaching at the upper secondary level.

As a teacher, you meet students with engagement and enthusiasm, contributing your leadership to increase their desire to learn. You have a working style where you clearly support and follow up on your students' knowledge development in a structured manner. As a colleague, you have a positive approach to participating in collegial collaboration and learning. You have good experience working together with teaching colleagues in your subject and others, as well as with other roles within an upper secondary school. You use and are familiar with digital tools in teaching and in your daily work. You demonstrate in your leadership that you prioritize values-based work, thereby serving as a good role model for your students.
