Do you have knowledge of and an interest in the energy system, and do you want to take on an exciting and developing job within the energy sector? We are looking for two new stars for our energy preparedness department. Is that you? Apply today!
Your responsibilities – Analysis for a secure energy future
The energy system is undergoing major changes to meet the EU's and Sweden's energy and climate policy goals, while we also face the largest defense investment of our time. The goal is a fossil-free and robust energy system capable of meeting society's needs in both peace and war. To meet this societal change, we are now looking for two analysts for the Energy Preparedness Department, specifically the Supply Preparedness unit for fuels and gas. This is a chance for you who have recently graduated or are in the final stages of your academic studies and want to become part of an exciting organization at the center of change.
We are looking for you who want to contribute to the development of a sustainable and resilient energy system. In this role, you will participate in the unit's and department's various assignments and tasks, focusing on analysis, investigation, and development work from a system perspective.
The work involves, among other things, analyzing and investigating how society's energy needs, with a particular focus on fuels and gas, can be met under disrupted conditions, and how supply security can be developed on the journey to fossil freedom. The work also includes identifying measures that can strengthen the energy system's robustness and resilience in the short and long term.
You will also produce knowledge bases, analyses, and decision support for other parts of the agency as well as for the Government Offices. The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external actors and requires the ability to translate complex information into clear and useful materials. We work in both a national and international context, so business travel may occur.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with an academic education that the employer deems relevant, for example in natural sciences, economics, or political science. You have knowledge of the energy system and a great interest in societal issues, particularly related to energy, supply security, and societal development.
You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing, as well as good IT skills in modern systems.
It is meritorious if you have experience of analytical work, either from professional experience or from your studies. It is also meritorious if you have experience of trust-based assignments, internships, or other professional experience that the employer deems relevant. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have experience of leading or coordinating projects and development initiatives.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. We are looking for you with the ability to analyze and break down problems to solve complex issues. You are a good writer and have the ability to produce high-quality materials, as well as to understand and condense extensive material. You are unpretentious and prioritize work effectively. Since you will work closely with your colleagues, we value good teamwork skills. We look forward to meeting you with drive, engagement, and interest in the position!
