We are now looking for a new on-call assistant for our client in central Mjölby.

The client lives in her own apartment, uses a wheelchair, and needs assistance with most aspects of daily life.

The client exercises frequently, either playing Boccia or working out at the gym. She enjoys finding things to do during her free time. Therefore, it is important that you, as an assistant, are active and enjoy cooking.

The client often travels to competitions, which means the schedule may vary. You will work more during some periods and less during others, so flexibility is key.

This is a part-time position. Working hours vary; sometimes you will work a full day (07:00–22:20), and other times the shift is split between morning and afternoon. If the client becomes ill, you may need to stay overnight.

You must have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the client uses the Bliss communication board.

About the employment:

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at SAAND Assistans is that you, as a candidate, can present a valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a police certificate from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18. To ensure the safety of our clients at SAAND Assistans, we obtain extracts from the criminal record register for all individuals we hire. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record register prior to any potential employment.
