Job Description
The role of a study guide in mother tongue involves supporting students in their development and learning in close collaboration with other school staff. The work entails placement at several different schools during a work week and travel between schools within the municipality. The assignment requires cooperation with the principal and staff at the schools. The role also includes collaborating and developing the work together with colleagues in the mother tongue unit.
The teaching group (mother tongue teachers and study guides) holds pedagogical conferences and study days together. You will also have daily contact with school staff. The position requires you to have good language and IT skills and the ability to integrate digital technology into teaching.
Qualifications
You master French and Swedish in the school's various subjects and teaching situations. You structure and organize the work based on steering documents, and you analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge.
Swedish teaching certification is meritorious, but other pedagogical (or otherwise relevant) education and experience working with children/young people are also valued. Experience working with digital learning tools is essential for success in this role.

Conditions and Application
Before a potential employment, a language test may be required to assess your proficiency in Swedish. To start working in preschool, school, after-school centers, and other pedagogical activities, you must show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the Swedish Police Authority (www.polisen.se (https://www.polisen.se)).
