Do you want to help lead the work to make all of Sweden ready? Then you could be our next colleague.
Your responsibilities and tasks
As a Junior Staff Officer, you will have a broad and varied role with a focus on administration, coordination, and organization. You will serve as support to the staff and the department, with the opportunity to develop through practical work in a fast-paced environment with dedicated colleagues. You will work closely with the department management and be a key cog in the daily operations.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Managing the department's case flow and being responsible for producing, quality-assuring, and compiling remissers, preparations, and decision materials.
- Creating summaries and presentations.
- Supporting planning and follow-up processes, ensuring that documentation, follow-up, and summaries maintain high quality.
- Coordinating, preparing materials, and documenting meetings.
- Assisting with materials and coordination in other matters where the staff contributes.
Your skills and competencies
We are looking for you who have an academic degree and at least two years of experience from similar work in the public sector. To succeed in your tasks, you are structured and have the ability to distribute, follow up, and support in cases such as remissers, preparations, and authority decisions. You have good knowledge of the Office package and SharePoint or equivalent systems. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and you have a solution-oriented approach and are curious.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Work experience from a government agency.
- Experience from technology/IT operations.
- Experience from business planning.
In all our work, both internally and externally, we must act based on the state's value base. As all employees and leaders here, you are expected to act according to the authority's guidelines.
The guidelines apply in everyday life, crisis, and war. They should be seen as a whole and build on each other; collaboration-oriented – proactive – action-oriented.

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and can maintain your calm even during stressful periods, delivering good results. You enjoy performing your work with a high degree of service. You collaborate well, are communicative, and enjoy working in teams. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and can see opportunities in changes.
About the employment
We offer you a permanent full-time position starting with a probationary period. Your place of work will be Stockholm at our Tomteboda office, and travel during employment occurs.

Most employees at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency are war-placed.
About us
The staff for the Cybersecurity and Critical Communications Department is a management support unit tasked with supporting the department head in directing, planning, steering, and following up on operations. The task includes being the contact point towards the department and coordinating issues internally as well as with other parts of the authority. The assignment also involves handling several external contacts.
On the staff, we are currently four employees, and we are located in Stockholm. The assignments on the staff are often event-driven. Therefore, it is important that we all understand that there can be quick reversals and that tasks and assignments may vary over time. The department is now facing an adjusted assignment, as the cyber operations will move to another authority. This means that other tasks and assignments will likely be added.
We have an activity-based office where you can choose your workplace based on your own needs. You also have the opportunity to work remotely to some extent. We also offer you the opportunity to take out wellness hours, and you will receive a wellness allowance. For you as a state employee, there are also favorable vacation conditions.
All of us who work at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency are expected and should contribute to increased gender equality and equal treatment for a work environment and society free from discrimination.
