Statens institutionsstyrelse (SiS) is a government agency responsible for providing individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse problems. Job Description
We are now looking for a detail-oriented Economic Administrator who enjoys varied administrative tasks, thrives in team collaboration, and aims to add value to the operations.
The role involves independently handling daily accounting matters and supporting managers with economic administrative tasks. You will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, supplier accounts, payments, customer accounts, inventory, invoicing, and purchasing.
You should be driven and focused on your assignment, contributing to the team's and the organization's development work. We assume that you, as a candidate, have strong administrative skills and can quickly adapt to various systems, assisting with administration in Active Directory (AD) or other IT environments.
The ideal candidate is a positive, calm, and stable person who remains controlled and precise even under time pressure. You should be able to multitask, solve emerging problems with short notice, adapt easily to changing circumstances, and work persistently until desired results are achieved.
Qualifications
As a person, you are meticulous and possess excellent administrative skills. You have strong verbal and written communication skills and a aptitude for collaboration and teamwork. You have a service-oriented approach and enjoy working both independently and in groups. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities. You must also have:
- A completed and approved upper secondary school diploma, with a focus on economics.
- Previous experience in economic administration or another role involving economic management.
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
The following qualifications are meritorious:
- Experience from public sector operations.
- Post-secondary education (180 ECTS credits) from a university/college in economics or a related field.
- Experience with the following systems: UBW (Unit4), formerly Agresso, and Visma Proceedo.

Experience in handling registries and case management systems is required.

Employment
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
You will work during daytime hours in the form of office hours (Monday-Friday).
