Are you a meticulous and structured person who thrives in a laboratory environment and wants to contribute to high quality in analytical work? We are now looking for a laboratory technician for our laboratory in Luleå.

In this role, you will work with sampling, sample preparation, and analysis of various types of samples such as water, gases, and by-products. You will become part of a team consisting of laboratory technicians and laboratory engineers, where quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement are in focus.

The work involves both routine analyses and participation in development and improvement work related to the laboratory's methods and equipment. You will also interact with internal customers and contribute to ensuring that analyses and results maintain high quality according to current standards and procedures.

Your main areas of responsibility

• Perform sampling, sample preparation, and analyses according to established routines and schedules
• Report analysis results and engage in dialogue with customers regarding analyses and results
• Check, calibrate, and perform simple maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment
• Participate in the introduction of new analysis methods, equipment, and improvement projects
• Report deviations and contribute to the development of routines, instructions, and working methods
• Instruct and mentor new employees and contribute to order and cleanliness in the laboratory

About you

• You have a high school education with a focus on natural sciences or technology, or alternatively, experience in laboratory work
• You are computer literate and proficient in Swedish (spoken and written) and can read and understand basic technical English
• Knowledge of quality work according to ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 is an advantage
• As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and work in a structured manner
• You find it easy to collaborate, communicate, and build good relationships
• You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and have an interest in continuous improvement
