Your role
As a Survey Technician within Mine Surveying in Malmberget, you will have a varied and dynamic role where you combine practical fieldwork with analysis and data processing. In your daily work, you will be involved in setting out for drilling, surveying, as well as handling and processing scanning data at the office. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in mine planning and other functions within the operation.
Mine Surveying is in an exciting phase of development where new working methods and technologies are being implemented, giving you great opportunities to influence both working methods and future solutions. You will become part of a dedicated team that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and an open climate where new ideas are welcome. Here you have the chance to contribute to improvement work and the development of methods that are central to LKAB's continued success.
What you bring with you
We are looking for someone who thrives in a team and has good collaboration skills, while also being flexible in your working approach. You work carefully and with a quality mindset, with a clear service focus towards the operation. You take initiative, are solution-oriented, and contribute to progress in the work. The role also requires that you can communicate clearly and effectively, as collaboration and information exchange are an important part of everyday life.
Requirements:
- High school education
- Category B driver's license
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Merits:
- Post-secondary education in surveying technology
- Experience with measuring instruments and software in the surveying field
- Experience working in a mine
- Experience working as a survey technician
