Are you our new Material Planner in Luleå?

We are looking for an ambitious and driven employee to join our Supply Chain organization, based in Luleå.

The role of Material Planner involves planning, development, purchasing, and delivery of materials to customers, with a focus on the repair of customer-owned components. You will work closely with other functions to optimize material flows and improve both external and internal handling of materials and components.

You will maintain close contact with other workshop depots in Sweden to optimize handling and drive improvement work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze historical and future needs and define potential material stockholding related to repairs
• Create and expedite purchase orders against defined suppliers and internal workshops
• Ensure timely delivery of materials from suppliers and that materials needed for processing are available with external partners according to agreements
• Monitor and proactively work to identify and resolve any delivery issues, while continuously updating other functions regarding potential future material shortages
• Continuously communicate schedules and changes to suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
• Follow up on all purchase orders and ensure they are executed and closed correctly
• Act as support in the interface between suppliers and finance, and drive process improvements
• Monitor that supplier performance regarding QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) is prioritized
• Monitor supplier performance regarding OTIF (On Time In Full) and drive improvement measures based on OTIF

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, collaborative, and an engaged team player. You are also structured and organize and plan your work well. You have the ability to prioritize and focus on the most important tasks at hand, even in pressured situations.

Furthermore, you have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken, and possess good knowledge of the Office suite.

• Education in logistics or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience
• Experience in material planning and working in business systems, preferably SAP
• Experience within Logistics/Purchasing/Warehouse Management
• Experience in supplier contact
• Structured and solution-oriented
• Stress-resistant and efficient to solve problems that arise quickly
• Good collaboration skills
