Ekdalaskolan is a secondary school (grades 7–9) with approximately 300 students, centrally located in Mölnlycke. The school is easily accessible, with a bus journey of about 15 minutes from Korsvägen, Gothenburg.

Your assignment

We are now looking for a crafts teacher with qualifications in both types of crafts. The position is a temporary assignment during the 2026–2027 academic year at 45%, as our regular crafts teacher is on parental leave. The role involves teaching crafts in grades 7–9. You will be part of Work Team 7.

Requirements for the position

You are a certified teacher for the later years of compulsory school. You have good didactic competence in your subject. You should be able to work digitally and utilize various pathways to learning.

You have an inclusive approach and meet each student based on individual prerequisites and needs in differentiated teaching. You use formative assessment to ensure student development.

You are an engaged and flexible educator with good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and you are secure in the school's value base. You have the ability to create good interactions and to interact well with students, guardians, and colleagues.

It is meritorious if you are qualified in several subjects at the lower secondary level. Depending on your subject qualifications, there may be an opportunity for a higher degree of employment.

Great importance will be attached to education, experience, and personal suitability, such as attitude and collaboration skills.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Register must be presented.
