We are looking for a teacher for a substitute position at the lower secondary level in Pajala!

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher with us, you will become part of a municipal operation focused on knowledge, security, and equal education. You are responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching in accordance with the curriculum, in close collaboration with colleagues where you are part of a work team. As a substitute teacher, you will teach students in grades 4-6. You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching together with the work team and contribute to a safe and inspiring learning environment.

The position is a substitute role, subject to necessary decisions, with the possibility of extension. The position is currently located at Sattajärvi School.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher for primary school with a focus on the subjects Swedish and Social Studies. You have a structured approach to work and a good ability to plan teaching based on the students' needs. We would appreciate it if you have knowledge of language-developing working methods. You are also interested in school development and want to reflect and change together with your colleagues, with the students' learning as the focus. You have a desire to develop in your work and will be active in the school's collegial learning. You are flexible, see collaboration as important, and are solution-focused. Knowledge of low-affective handling and special education is advantageous.

If a qualified teacher is lacking, an unqualified person may be employed on a fixed-term basis. A high school diploma is a requirement.

The person offered the position must provide an extract from the register maintained according to the Act (1998:620) on the criminal record, with requirements in the Education Act (2010:800).

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
