Medborgarskolan Region Väst, with its regional office in Gothenburg, covers Västra Götaland and Halland and has over 45 activity locations throughout the region. We are a non-profit association that, in addition to traditional adult education, also runs school activities, corporate training, and labor market initiatives. Medborgarskolan Region Väst has an annual turnover of approx. 185 million SEK and employs around 200 people.

Medborgarskolan in Skövde is now looking for engaged and inspiring course leaders for our cooking courses.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are knowledgeable and pedagogical. We are primarily looking for you who have education in cooking and experience in teaching. You are passionate about everything related to cooking and want to share your knowledge with others. You enjoy meeting new people and have previous experience working with adults.

As a person, you are sensitive, structured, and strive for high quality and satisfied course participants. You have a social personality and are good at building relationships. The teaching is conducted in Swedish.

Qualifications: Additional merit is given if you have documented education in cooking and/or baking, as well as pedagogical experience. References are also requested.

The Position

The teaching takes place in the form of group instruction, and you will work as a course leader. The courses are mostly held in the evenings and on weekends.

The employment is what is known as a "project-based employment" (objektsanställning), which means you are employed for the duration of the course.

We would appreciate it if you are interested in a long-term collaboration with us and live in Skövde or the surrounding area. We are looking for course leaders who are available for the autumn term 2026.
