Geomechanics Sweden AB is now looking for an engaged and driven Project Engineer for a assignment with Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration), Investment Western Region.

The assignment involves supporting project management within railway investments and offers the opportunity to work in complex infrastructure projects with significant impact on future transport systems.

About the Assignment

As a Project Engineer, you will support project management in the planning, monitoring, and administration of railway projects. You will be a key part of the project organization and contribute to ensuring the projects' progress regarding time, cost, quality, and risk.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Project administration and document management
• Schedule planning and monitoring
• Economic monitoring and forecasting
• Meeting planning and minute taking
• Monitoring project risks and opportunities
• Coordination between the project's various stakeholders
• Support to project managers in daily project work
• Handling project information in Trafikverket's systems

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• University or college education in construction, civil engineering, technology, or equivalent
• Experience as a project engineer, contracting engineer, project coordinator, foreman, or similar role
• Experience in planning, monitoring, and project administration
• Strong administrative skills and a structured working method
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and experience with the Office package
