Lunnaskolan is a preschool class to grade 3 school (F-3) in Landvetter, featuring an after-school program (fritidshem) and a special needs school. The students come from the local area, Önneröd, and Tahult. The school consists of three buildings and a playground that invites many different games and activities.

We offer break-time activities every morning break with the goal of providing students with greater variety in games/activities that promote cooperation, movement, and cohesion. Our latest addition to the morning break is the Toy Bank, which offers play materials for loan. In the bank, students from grade 3 take turns being responsible for the play materials. This gives students increased opportunities for participation, influence, and responsibility.

Approximately 400 students attend the school in grades preschool class to 3. There is high competence among the educators, which provides the prerequisites for good quality. We strive to value children's play and creativity.

The school is located in a residential area in Landvetter with nature right at your doorstep. It is five hundred meters to our own school forest and the Landehof jogging track, which are used frequently. Parking spaces are available adjacent to the school, and public transport is also nearby.

Your Assignment

We are now looking for more colleagues who want to become part of our school. We are looking for you who are a trained after-school teacher (lärare i fritidshem). At Lunnaskolan, we work together in work teams to give all students the best possible conditions to achieve the goals of the curriculum. We strive to make education accessible to all students by promoting participation, belonging, and meaningfulness. We have a holistic view of knowledge, development, and learning, which means that we collaborate closely in work teams regarding the students' entire school day. Together with the work team, you will be responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of activities at the after-school program, where you have your main responsibility. During school hours, you collaborate with class teachers regarding the students.

We are looking for you who are positive and initiative-taking and who can contribute actively to our school development work, to a good climate, and developmental collaboration. You need to have an inclusive approach and meet each student based on their prerequisites and needs. In your work, you will also mentor other adults, so you need to be a team player who wants, can, and dares to lead colleagues.

Requirements for the Position

• Legitimized teacher in after-school programs (fritidshem), this is a prerequisite for the position.
• Driven with high engagement that benefits and develops the operations positively.
• Secure in your leadership, receptive, and have good collaboration skills with both students, guardians, colleagues, and management.
• Responsible, structured, and quality-conscious.
• Ability to plan and organize activities and create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Task-aware and work goal-oriented.
• Ability to build positive and supportive relationships with the students.
• Uses digital tools as a natural part of the pedagogical work.
• Genuine interest in working with children and contributing to their development and well-being.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also become relevant depending on the position.
