The Eye Clinic at Region Kronoberg is a medium-sized clinic with approximately 70 employees. The operations are located at Ljungby and Växjö hospitals.

We are an outpatient clinic with scheduled and emergency reception activities at the hospitals in Ljungby and Växjö, as well as surgical activities in Växjö. Our patients are of all ages, from premature babies to the elderly. We have a catchment area of approximately 190,000 inhabitants in Kronoberg County.

Job Duties

Your duties will include various types of vision tests, tonometry measurements, telephone advice, preliminary examinations for doctors, and assistance during treatments. Fundus photography and independent patient consultations. We use a significant amount of technical equipment. The work is carried out in close collaboration with our doctors, nurses, and other staff.

Qualifications

You who apply must be a registered nurse. Experience as an eye nurse is meritorious but not a requirement.
