We are currently looking for a female personal assistant for a 5-year-old girl with Aicardi syndrome and severe, treatment-resistant epilepsy. She lives in Mjölby with her mother, father, and older sister.

The client has extensive care needs. She cannot walk or move independently and requires constant supervision due to her epilepsy. She does not communicate verbally but expresses herself through facial expressions and body language. Currently, she is moved manually with the help of a standing frame and a specially adapted stroller, and she is tube-fed.

We are looking for you who are child-loving, responsible, and have great patience. Experience in care and/or education as a nursing assistant is a big plus, especially considering the epilepsy. You should be at least 25 years old.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at SAAND Assistans is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18. To ensure security for our clients at SAAND Assistans, we obtain extracts from the criminal record register for all those we hire. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record register prior to any potential employment.
