Your Responsibilities

At our workplace, we base our care and support on the individual customer's needs and wishes to provide good and close care. This is done in close collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

A day with us involves care and support tasks, delegated interventions, and service together with wonderful colleagues. As a nursing assistant, you perform qualified tasks that are part of the nursing assistant role, such as dispensing medication, insulin, and dialysis.

We have digital solutions to register our interventions with customers, sign for administered medications, and document in our business and quality assurance systems. We use digital keys for a secure and safe working method. Our digital solutions in work mean that you are expected to be able to use both a computer, mobile phone, and associated digital aids.

The position includes both day and evening shifts, as well as weekend duty every other weekend.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced nursing assistant with education in care and support, who has a special interest in psychogeriatrics and preferably has further education in the field. The position has a psychogeriatric focus, which means that experience of working in psychiatry or psychogeriatrics is an advantage.

You work with a person-centered approach and take into account each individual's unique needs and wishes. You are confident in your professional role and are happy to share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues. You have a good ability to cooperate, communicate, and promote a good working environment. You work evidence-based, methodically, and with a development-oriented attitude, and you are accustomed to adapting your working method to the patient's needs. You work with a low-affective approach.

As a colleague, you contribute to a good working environment, take responsibility, treat others with respect, and have a passion for working with the elderly. You are engaged in your own development and actively participate in improvement work to raise the quality of our work.

We Offer You

Dalsbo's residence has a psychogeriatric focus. The residence is located near green areas as well as Vallås center with shops and a pharmacy. In the immediate vicinity, you will also find Halmstad Racecourse and a church.

Dalsbo will move to the newly opened Söndrum residence west with a planned move-in in February 2027. Here you will have the opportunity to be part of an exciting development journey.
