We are now looking for more summer substitutes for the Home Care East service who want to make a difference during the summer. We are growing rapidly!

Home Care East in Söderköping covers the areas of Skärgården and Husby Backe as well as Eriksvik. The team consists of engaged and welcoming work groups where community and joy of work are at the center. Here you get meaningful work with varied tasks and close contact with people.

Imagine starting your workday with a lovely bike ride or taking the car out to our beautiful outer areas – and being greeted by smiles from both colleagues and customers. We work together towards the same goal: to provide good and secure care.

You will receive an introduction, support from experienced colleagues, and valuable work experience within healthcare and social care.

After the summer, there is an opportunity for continued employment within home care, both as an hourly substitute and through interim positions, based on the needs of the operations.

Job Description

As a summer substitute in home care, you work with supporting our customers in their own homes. The tasks are varied and can include among other things:

• Personal care
• Practical chores such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Social support and conversation
• Simpler health and medical tasks, such as medication management, insulin, and wound care
• Documentation in our digital systems

Söderköping's home care is a keyless operation. We work in the business system Lifecare and use the app LMO for daily planning.

Working hours vary and can include day, evening, and weekend. You sometimes work independently and sometimes together with a colleague, both in central Söderköping and in outer areas.

Qualifications

• Have turned 18 years old
• Interest in working within elderly care
• Have a flexible and responsible attitude
• Enjoy working both independently and in a team
• Show empathy, engagement, and professional treatment
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing
• Have some computer and mobile phone experience

A B-driver's license is a requirement. Within home care, we use cars a lot.

Previous experience within elderly care or healthcare education is meritorious, but not a requirement – personal suitability is most important.

To work within elderly care, you need to present a valid extract from the criminal record. The extract must be ordered by you personally and the original must be shown in connection with employment.
