About the role
We are currently looking for a Technical Property Manager specializing in parks and grounds for the Swedish National Property Board (Statens fastighetsverk) in Ulriksdal. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and ensuring the long-term maintenance of park and ground areas, with the goal of preserving the economic and cultural-historical values of the properties.

Together with property managers and the operations organization, you will initiate, analyze, and prepare decision support materials for maintenance and renovation projects. You will drive these projects forward as a project manager, responsible for budget, planning, procurement, coordination, and follow-up.

As a Technical Property Manager, you will also work on creating maintenance plans for parks and tree environments, including risk tree assessments. The properties have high cultural-historical values, which requires a careful and considerate approach to ensure long-term preservation.

There are tenants within the property area, which in some cases may require security clearance for projects involving them. This clearance is handled by the respective tenant.

Assignment period and scope
This is a full-time consultancy assignment, with a preliminary start date of August 15, 2026, and is expected to last until July 31, 2027. The location is at Ulriksdal Palace, and the work is performed on-site. Travel may be required.

Requirements for the role:

  • University degree in landscape engineering, landscape architecture, or equivalent, or equivalent knowledge acquired through practical experience.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • At least three years of experience in maintaining tree stands and handling risk trees.
  • At least three years of experience working as a project manager.
  • Good proficiency in spoken and written Swedish.
  • At least three years of experience in public procurement (LOU 2016:1145).
  • At least three years of experience with laws, regulations, and other requirements related to property ownership responsibilities and contract law.

Meritorious qualifications:

  • Experience with parks and grounds of cultural-historical value.
  • Knowledge of park and ground issues.
  • Ability to describe working methods in detail to enable verification of competence and experience in the field.

To be considered for the next stage of the process, you must clearly state in your CV that all the above requirements are met. Specify which assignment(s) demonstrate the requested experience. The time period must be stated in years and months (YY-MM).

To ensure a competence-based recruitment process, we use work psychological tests. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Selection is ongoing, with the final application deadline being June 9, 2026.
