Yrkeshögskolan Brobygrafiska is now seeking an Education Manager within the graphic education field. Brobygrafiska offers vocational higher education programs, testing within the printing industry, and corporate training. It is a place where business and education meet in areas such as graphic design, digital media, and packaging development. The education has a high technical and creative level and a very strong connection to the business community. Brobygrafiska is a strong brand and is today considered one of the leading post-secondary educations in its field in Sweden.

The position involves responsibility for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the education programs and courses we offer, in close collaboration with our partners within each respective industry. The role includes, together with the Managing Director/Principal, driving and developing a systematic quality work in accordance with the requirements of the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education, as well as ensuring that the education is conducted in accordance with current laws and regulations, with a focus on continuous development and high quality.

Responsibilities:

As an Education Manager, you report to the Managing Director/Principal for your business area and are part of the management team. You are responsible for driving and developing the vocational college's courses and commissioned activities, as well as preparing and writing applications for vocational higher education programs, including short courses, course packages, and training. The assignment also includes regularly reporting to the management groups for the education programs and to the Managing Director/Principal.

You contribute to the goal of increasing the interest of industries and especially young people in vocational higher education and the demand for commissioned training. A central part of the assignment is to be responsible for and further develop collaboration with working life, as well as to conduct continuous and active communication work with our partners. Together with the staff, you develop current education programs and are responsible for applying for new education programs.

The position also entails expectations to be active and driving in the marketing of the education programs and in strengthening Brobygrafiska's visibility and attractiveness towards students, business, and partners.

Qualifications:

You have a relevant university or college education, or alternatively other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. It is an advantage if you have many years of experience in business development, brand building, and leadership from the media industry or alternatively from graphics-oriented companies. You have documented experience in leading business development and change projects.

You are a skilled communicator and ambassador with a broad network and knowledge of the industry. You can establish and develop good relationships with students, colleagues, and business, as well as current and potential customers and partners.

As a person, you are result-oriented and good at creating engagement and motivation in others. You help people grow and develop and strive towards common goals. You are driven and self-starting, and thrive with many balls in the air.
