We are expanding our substitute teacher pool and are currently looking for several part-time substitutes for Eskilstuna Friluftsförskola Balsta, Kloster, and Tumbo. As a part-time substitute, you will work in our preschools as needed and may join various work teams.

Eskilstuna Friluftsförskola Balsta is located in Balsta (Balstavägen 8a), just outside central Eskilstuna. The preschool consists of 1 department with 18 children.

Eskilstuna Friluftsförskola Kloster is located in central Eskilstuna (Östergatan 8a), in close proximity to Kloster Church. The preschool consists of 4 departments with 10-15 children per department. We spend a lot of time in playgrounds, parks, and natural areas in our immediate vicinity.

Eskilstuna Friluftsförskola Tumbo is located in Tumbo, a town in Eskilstuna Municipality adjacent to Kvicksund. The preschool consists of 1 department with 45 children, and we work in four age-grouped classes. Since public transport is limited, a driver's license and access to a car are advantageous.

The foundation of our work is the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschools and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Security is the foundation for all learning, and we work with children's own initiatives, ensuring they feel seen and confirmed, thereby strengthening their self-image and self-esteem. Our approach is based on guiding interaction, inspired by ICDP (International Child Development Program).

We are members of Friluftsfrämjandet and operate as an outdoor preschool with a Skogsmulle profile. We spend a lot of time outdoors when weather and wind permit; it is important to us that children retain the joy of being outside. We eat healthy, home-cooked meals that provide a good foundation for a healthy and active lifestyle.

We are looking for you who have experience working with children, the ability to collaborate, good work ethic, flexibility, sensitivity, and strong communication skills. You should be development-oriented, able to take initiative, and serve as a good role model in your pedagogical approach. You must have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Specify which preschools you can substitute at and to what extent you are available to work. It is advantageous if you are available for all our preschools.

We will conduct ongoing selections throughout June and August, so please submit your application as soon as possible.

According to law (2000:873), you must present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) for work within preschools.
