Are you a service-oriented and relationship-building administrator? Then this might be the right position for you! Here, you will become part of a dynamic workplace with engaged colleagues. The National Competence Centre for Elderly Care at the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) has the mandate to increase knowledge about elderly care at the national level and to support the development and implementation of knowledge and new working methods at the local level. We now need to strengthen our unit with an administrator.

About the role

In your role, you will provide support to the manager and staff at the National Competence Centre for Elderly Care. You will work with a broad range of administrative tasks within the agency. Your duties include coordinating and organizing calendars, coordinating internal and external meetings, participating in meetings to ensure practical functionality, and maintaining various types of documents and presentations. The role also involves searching for and collecting data, compiling reports, following up on plans and activities, and performing some project administration. Handling invoices, purchases, booking travel, managing email, and some diary registration are also part of the assignment. You will be tasked with improving administrative routines within the unit, such as the structure for annual planning. You will also play a role in the competence centre's outward-facing activities, such as study visits, webinars, experience exchanges, and acting as a chat moderator. Business travel may occur.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in administration, law, or social sciences
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital tools, e.g., Teams
  • Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Ability and experience to drive own projects, handle complex arrangements, and coordinate meetings
  • Experience with administrative, service-oriented tasks relevant to the assignment

Good to know

The employment is a permanent full-time position starting with a six-month probationary period. You will be based at the office on Västerbroplan in Stockholm but have the possibility to work remotely up to two days a week. In spring 2027, we will move to new premises in Solna Strand.

Your job title will be Administrator, and your placement is in the Department for Knowledge Management for Social Services, Unit for the Competence Centre for Elderly Care.
