At Malmköpings Mekaniska Werkstad AB, you will become a key part of a stable and long-term growth journey. The role is operational, development-focused, and offers significant scope for influence – with the possibility of a future leadership position. You will report directly to the Site Manager.

Responsibilities

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Optimize machining processes, tool selection, and methods in turning and milling
• Analyze technical problems and improvement opportunities, and develop and implement action plans
• Drive process improvements and rationalization work in line with the company's goals
• Actively participate in production meetings and daily management
• Work operationally in production and serve as technical support

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• Post-secondary technical education in areas such as production technology, CNC, mechanical engineering, or automation
• Experience in production technology work involving cutting machining (turning & milling)
• Good experience with CAM programming (GibbsCAM is an advantage)
• Advantageous if you have experience with automation and/or robotic solutions
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good IT skills, including Office and business systems
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Malmköpings Mekaniska Werkstad AB was founded in 2010 when the current owner took over Elmo, a company with roots dating back to 1946. The group currently has a turnover of approximately 150 MSEK and has had annual growth of around 10 MSEK.

Our vision is to become a leading contract manufacturer in cutting machining in Sweden.
