On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for an Interim Senior Property Manager. The position is full-time, expected to start immediately, and last for approximately 6 months.

About the Assignment

We are seeking an experienced and independent Interim Senior Property Manager for a full-time assignment starting as soon as possible. This is a temporary role to cover a need while recruiting a permanent resource.

You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of public sector properties, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, sustainability, energy efficiency, and business adaptation.

The assignment includes responsibility for the management of public properties such as schools, care homes, and elderly housing.

The work involves both ongoing property management and handling renovation and business adaptation projects.

Responsibilities

As an interim property manager, you will among other things:

  • Be responsible for ongoing property management, including budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up
  • Ensure cost-effective operation and maintenance
  • Drive and follow up on renovation and business adaptation projects
  • Coordinate contractors and consultants
  • Act as a contact person for operations and stakeholders
  • Ensure documentation and handover to the incoming permanent manager

Start: Immediately
End: Assignment lasts approx. 6 months
Scope: 100%, 40 hours per week
Location: Strängnäs

About You

We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • At least 10 years of documented experience in property management, including 2 years of experience managing public sector properties.
  • Documented experience leading renovation projects in existing portfolios.
  • Documented experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial follow-up.
  • Documented experience from a municipal property company.
  • Knowledge of LOU (Public Procurement Act), sustainability work, and energy efficiency.

It is meritorious if you also meet the following requirements:

  • Experience with interim consulting assignments in a similar role.
