We are looking for a business-driven and technically skilled Product Manager with wheel excavators (EXW) who wants to take overall responsibility for one or more product areas. In this role, you will work closely with the sales organization and other internal functions to develop a competitive and profitable product range. You are responsible for driving product development from a commercial perspective, optimizing the product offering, and ensuring that the sales organization has the right conditions to succeed.

You will become a key link between sales, purchasing, product support, and other business areas. The role combines strategic work with operational responsibility and involves significant personal responsibility for developing the product area, strengthening market position, and creating high customer satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities

• Support the sales organization with commercial analyses, including profitability optimization, price realization, and market shares.
• Lead and convene product councils together with relevant functions.
• Contribute to volume planning, inventory optimization, and ordering of stock machines.
• Suggest, plan, and drive campaigns, as well as monitor the market and competitors.
• Be responsible for the product area at trade shows, events, and product launches.
• Train and support salespeople and demonstrators regarding products and product configurations.
• Ensure and update standard configurations and reject unsuitable product combinations.
• Collaborate with product support and initiate actions in case of product issues, risky products, or needs for sales and delivery stops.
• Work actively to standardize the product offering, improve profitability, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Plan and initiate travel, training, and courses within the approved budget.
• Represent the company in external industry contacts and networks.

To succeed and thrive in the role

Do you have:

• A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Very good technical understanding and knowledge within the current product area.
• Good analytical skills and a commercial and business-oriented approach to work.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with business and configuration systems, such as Experlogix, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), and Finance & Operations (FnO).
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
