About the position

Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, your main task will be to help the customer with everyday occurrences and basic needs. Your work involves protecting the customer's autonomy and integrity, ensuring that daily life runs smoothly. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer's individual needs dictate the workday. Tasks may include help with mobility, personal care, training, communication, as well as household chores and activities both inside and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is crucial that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Willing to work for a woman in her 40s living in central Ludvika.
• Good knowledge of Swedish.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform lifting and transfers.
• Calm and patient personality.
• Not afraid of or allergic to dogs.
• Non-smoker.

Merits:

• Experience in similar work.
• Shares the customer's interest in both social activities and dog walks.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on demand during hours 07:00–23:00, both weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
