Within the Child and Education Administration, our approximately 3,000 employees meet with around 14,000 children and students at more than 100 preschools and schools throughout the municipality every day. Every child and student in Sundsvall Municipality's preschools and schools should be able to develop, learn, and reach their goals according to their own prerequisites. Every student should leave school with the desire, knowledge, and good conditions to meet adult life and the future.

Your new workplace

Since the start of the school year 2024/25, Bredsand and Skönsmon schools have been part of the same organization. We have a total of approximately 500 students at our schools and about 70 employees with various competencies organized in work teams. Bredsand School is a multicultural F-6 school (preschool class to grade 6). We have approximately 115 students at the school and about 20 employees with various competencies organized in work teams. Bredsand School is located about 5 km from Sundsvall center, close to green areas and the sea. We work based on the LIKA vision: Joyful, Inclusive, Qualitative, and Responsible. We strive to give all students the opportunity to develop their full potential.

How you contribute as a teacher

You will teach in lower primary school (F-3). You base your planning and implementation of teaching on the student's individual needs to provide each student with the best possible learning situation. You participate in the work team's activities, including following the school's systematic quality work. You will collaborate with both teachers and other professional categories where collegial learning is constantly taking place!

Your competence and experience

You who apply are a certified teacher with eligibility for F-3, preferably with experience teaching in primary school. We expect you to be able to work independently, be flexible, and be good at taking initiative. We assume you have good collaboration skills. Being positive and seeing solutions instead of obstacles is a given with us.
