Do you want to contribute to a stable financial market and work with one of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's (FI) strategic focus areas? We are now looking for a Financial Inspector with a focus on consumer protection issues!
About the job
Consumer protection work is one of the FI's strategic focus areas and a prioritized supervisory area. As a Financial Inspector in the Insurance Supervision department, you have an important role where you work with a focus on consumer protection issues for both insurance companies and insurance intermediaries. This includes, for example, ensuring that insurance companies develop insurance products that consumers need, and that insurance companies and intermediaries prioritize the consumer's best interest when advising on savings insurance.
As a Financial Inspector, you participate in identifying and assessing consumer protection risks, as well as participating in investigations and in-depth analyses, as well as in ongoing supervision. You also participate in international supervisory work within EIOPA, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority.
The role also involves developing the FI's consumer protection work, participating in the work on driving regulatory and policy issues, and communicating and influencing actors and the market on consumer protection matters. The work also includes strengthening the FI's competence and knowledge regarding consumer protection issues.
The work involves collaboration with the Securities Supervision unit in the Markets area, which is responsible for the supervision of securities companies.

It is an advantage if you have
- experience working at or with insurance companies or insurance intermediaries
- knowledge of product development and distribution of insurance products
- experience with savings insurance and with securities and financial instruments.
