About the Department

Would you like to become part of our team at Orthopedic Ward 41 at Mora Hospital? We are currently looking for two new nurses to join us.

The ward has 20 care beds distributed across three care teams. Here, we treat patients with acute injuries to the musculoskeletal system, such as hip fractures, ankle fractures, and trauma patients. We also perform planned prosthetic surgery for hips, knees, and shoulders. A characteristic of the ward is that patients from other counties and countries are often treated here due to the large influx of tourists, both in winter and summer, in the catchment area.

Job Responsibilities

What makes our team unique is that the nurses have extensive experience in the profession and in orthopedics, which ensures that new nurses joining us receive a secure introduction to the nursing profession. The onboarding process is individually tailored, and after the initial training, you will work together with an experienced nurse. Working with us as a nurse means independent, stimulating, and varied work. On the ward, we provide patient-centered care in a team with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. We have an open and positive work climate with friendly colleagues.

The position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekend shifts. We work actively with scheduling and strive to accommodate employees' wishes and needs regarding schedules. We believe this is an important part of achieving a good work environment and well-being.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.
