Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled People). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to ensuring that daily life runs smoothly.

About the role

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who matches the following:

• Want to work for a man in his 70s living in Ludvika
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Have a B driving license and access to a car
• Tolerate pets
• Are physically fit

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Are calm and cheerful
• Have experience with alternative communication

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 25%. Working hours are scheduled for daytime 08:00-16:00, evening 16:00-22:00, and night 21:30-10:00, both weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other allowances are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
