Responsibilities

In direct patient care, you are responsible for assessing patients' social situations, performing blood draws, supporting medication tapering if necessary, and providing information about chronic pain.

You have a clear coordinating function within the team and are responsible for several administrative tasks, such as:

• collecting patients' self-assessment scales in the National Pain Registry (NRS)
• planning and coordinating meetings of the multimodal team and multidisciplinary conferences with other units.
• contributing to a structured and efficient patient flow

About the Workplace

Pain Rehabilitation is a regional resource at the specialist level for the investigation and treatment of patients with chronic pain conditions from the musculoskeletal system. We have long experience, show good results, and participate in a national network for follow-up and development of pain care. We are an organization that collaborates across organizational boundaries for seamless and person-centered care.

The unit belongs to the "Close Care" area and receives patients from all of Västmanland. The work is conducted multimodally based on a biopsychosocial approach where CBT and ACT form a common theoretical platform. Research and education are a natural part of the operation.

We are centrally located at Herrgården Health Center (Karlsgatan 17 A), about a five-minute walk from the central station. Currently, about 20 employees work at the unit in different professions: physiotherapists, nurses, psychologists, doctors, and secretaries.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with work experience, preferably with a background in multimodal rehabilitation or work with patients with pain problems. Knowledge of CBT or ACT or motivational interviewing (MI) is meritorious.

You are professional, structured, and clear in your working method. You have the ability to coordinate and organize both your own and others' work, and thrive in a central role where you contribute to the whole. You are flexible and secure in change, see the value of development, and actively contribute to improvements in the organization.

You are curious, empathetic, and treat people with respect. You can set clear boundaries, prioritize, and drive the work forward in a balanced way.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Employment Terms

Permanent employment, 60-100%

The position is designed based on the organization's needs and the competence you bring.
