The client is a woman in her mid-20s who lives at home with her family. She is a lovely person who enjoys dancing and spending her summers at Astrid Lindgren's World.

We are looking for someone who wants to work long-term and build a secure relationship as a personal assistant. The woman requires a calm and careful introduction to new contacts, considering her autism, and the assistant needs to learn how to communicate with her as she is non-verbal. Working hours are planned in consultation based on needs, so we would appreciate it if you are flexible with times, especially in the beginning.

Initially, the work will involve a few hours at a time during the introduction period. The goal is for the client to eventually have external assistants nearby daily for most of the day. This may involve a position with an agreed percentage of full-time employment. The woman has assistance 24/7 with on-call duty during the night, so you need to be able to work inconvenient hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).

We are looking for someone who is social, driven, and calm. The work is always tailored to the client's needs, daily condition, and wishes.

The client is looking for a fun and creative person with a good sense of humor. You should be meticulous and capable of working independently, with the client's best interests in focus. Experience in similar work is meritorious. A driver's license and previous experience within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) are required.

In addition to this, we would appreciate it if you:

• are female
• have experience working with autism and Down syndrome
• do not have a fur allergy, as there are fur-bearing animals in the home
• have previous experience with "signs as support" and "picture support"

It is important that you are structured, clear, and stable in your work with the client. Most important are your personal qualities and the personal chemistry between you and the client.

Employment type: Employed on a hourly basis with the goal of a fixed-term contract as long as the assistance assignment lasts.

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
