HR Strategist at Lantmäteriet
Lantmäteriet (The Swedish Mapping, Cadastre and Land Registration Authority) is the agency responsible for mapping Sweden. Our tasks also include registering and securing ownership of all real estate properties, as well as managing their boundaries. We are now looking for you who have a strong commitment to society.
The cross-agency business area consists of supporting and governing units that assist Lantmäteriet's other business areas. Here, you will help ensure that daily operations run smoothly. Job Description
We are looking for someone who finds it important and enjoyable to drive and develop HR activities together with others. As an HR Strategist, you will work strategically with HR processes across the entire competence supply area, with a focus on strategic competence supply. You will work both strategically and long-term while handling daily operational issues and providing support to the business.
You will identify the needs of the business, take action, and ensure effectiveness. You will work together with employees and managers at all levels on HR-related issues. Our mandate within HR is to provide the prerequisites for clear and inclusive leadership that enables active and developmental employee engagement. Based on business needs and relevant legislation, we contribute with cross-agency and business-close governance, support, and development.
HR supports managers in all aspects of competence supply, such as being an attractive employer and staffing the organization. The support also includes retaining employees by, for example, promoting a good work environment, developing competence, and actively working with leadership and employee engagement. We actively work with employer policy, among other things through agreements, labor law, and wage formation. You will support the business in a changing time that places new demands.
The role of HR Strategist includes close contact with Lantmäteriet's top management group and other managers in the business. The job also involves having regular dialogue with employee organizations and contributing to creating a trusting and good collaboration climate.
The placement is at Lantmäteriet's offices in Gävle, Uppsala, or Stockholm. The majority of the 30 HR employees are located in Gävle, which requires regular presence in Gävle. The employment begins with a six-month probation period.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have an academic degree in HR or equivalent experience through work, and at least five years of qualified and current work experience in the HR field. You must have solid knowledge in strategic competence supply (be an expert), and have been responsible for cross-agency assignments in the area.
You have experience of recently working in a strategic HR function within a processing authority where HR consists of at least 10 employees. You do not need to have had the title of HR Strategist, but you must have been responsible for strategic, long-term development work within the competence supply area that has been continuously reported through you and/or your manager to a authority's top management group. You have also been part of a management group (participated on a regular basis) within an area of operational business where you were the HR representative.

You take strategic responsibility for developing, implementing, and following up on processes, documents, tools, and working methods together with your colleagues and managers. You are comfortable handling all types of HR issues as an HR Strategist and working in close collaboration with the business and other parts of HR.
You have a working style in everyday life where you drive, involve, coordinate, inform, and support. You also find it easy to find a balance and a clear connection between the strategic, tactical, and operational. You are stable and trustworthy as a person, are secure in uncertain situations, see logic and connections in complex contexts, and find it easy to cooperate, collaborate, and communicate both verbally and in writing. When needed, you step in to important tasks even outside your area of responsibility.
Other Information
Working in the Swedish state means that you follow the state's value base. Special requirements are also placed on judgment, security thinking, and that you follow current laws. The position is security classified, which means you must be a Swedish citizen and that a security check with register control and a security assessment interview will be conducted before employment. The role also implies that you will be mobilized in case of war.
