The Social Services Department is responsible for caring for the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as support, counseling, and other interventions for children, young people, and adults.

Do you want to be the first important contact for people in need of support from us at the Social Services? We are now looking for an engaged and confident social worker for our new intake function for adult cases. Here you will have a central role in the operations where you meet people in different life situations and contribute to a professional, legally secure, and respectful approach.

Description

We are a small unit, which means that in the intake center you will handle cases concerning harmful substance use, financial assistance, and domestic violence. The pace will be fast and the work sometimes complex, but also exciting and rewarding. Since this is a new function within IFO Adult, you will play an important role in developing the intake function. You will be supervised by a team leader and a unit manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a social worker or have another university degree that the employer considers equivalent, and have experience of exercising authority within social services. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in an intake function.

We believe the position suits you if you thrive with varying tasks, have good skills in planning, organizing, and prioritizing work, and want to work in an operation where no day is like the other. As a person, you are independent and have good collaboration skills. You easily embrace and see opportunities in new ideas, methods, and ways of working.
