Do you want to contribute to a stable financial market and work with one of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's (FI) strategic focus areas? We are now looking for a financial inspector with a focus on consumer protection issues!
About the job
Consumer protection is one of FI's strategic focus areas and a prioritized supervisory area. As a financial inspector within Insurance Supervision, you play a key role working on consumer protection issues for both insurance companies and insurance intermediaries. This includes, for example, ensuring that insurance companies develop products that meet consumer needs, and that companies and intermediaries act in the best interest of the consumer when advising on savings insurance.
As a financial inspector, you will participate in identifying and assessing consumer protection risks, as well as in investigations, in-depth analyses, and ongoing supervision. You will also participate in international supervisory work within EIOPA, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority.
The role also involves developing FI's consumer protection work, participating in the development of regulatory and policy issues, and communicating and influencing market actors on consumer protection matters. The role also includes strengthening FI's competence and knowledge regarding consumer protection.
The work involves collaboration with the Securities Supervision unit within the Markets area, which is responsible for the supervision of securities companies.

We are looking for someone who has

It is an advantage if you have
- experience working at or with insurance companies or insurance intermediaries
- knowledge of product development and distribution of insurance products
- experience with savings insurance, as well as securities and financial instruments.
About you
In this role, you need to
- contribute to good collaboration
- plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively
- have strong analytical skills and be able to solve complex tasks
- take initiative.
