We are now looking for two foremen for Alucrom AB in Gothenburg. In this role, you will become an important part of the operations, responsible for driving projects forward, ensuring work flows smoothly on-site, and supporting teams in their daily work. The role involves great variation, where no two days are alike, and you will work closely with colleagues, customers, and production.

About the role

As a foreman at Alucrom, you work operationally out in the field and are responsible for ensuring that projects and contracts are carried out according to plan, time, and budget. The role focuses heavily on practical execution, planning, and coordination at job sites rather than administrative office work.

You will work closely with different teams depending on the scope of the projects. In some projects, you work independently, and in others, together with larger workgroups. You are responsible for ensuring that the work maintains high quality, that safety routines are followed, and that operations function efficiently on-site.

The work takes place primarily on contracts and various job sites, which means travel is part of the role. A company car is included, and the role suits you if you thrive in a mobile and varied daily life where you are close to production and operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in blasting, industrial painting, or surface treatment and who have either worked as a foreman previously or are ready to take the next step in your career. You are a person who likes to take responsibility, make your own decisions, and work closely with the team in the field.

You are driven, solution-oriented, and find it easy to collaborate with people from different cultures and backgrounds. The role requires you to be flexible, unpretentious, and comfortable in a tough and practical work environment where the pace can sometimes be high.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in blasting, surface treatment, or industrial painting
• Experience from contracting operations
• Category B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish or English
• Good physical health and ability to pass a fitness certificate/medical examination

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience in leadership within the industry
• Forklift license, preferably counterbalance forklift
• Surface and corrosion protection painter (formerly Diplomatic Painter Training)
• Experience working at heights or on scaffolding
• Good computer skills and experience with digital tools
